Field Service Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Manager at our Leesport location. This role is responsible for managing Road and Shop Technicians who perform maintenance and repair on forklifts and related products for the customers of Lift, Inc. The Field Service Manager will ensure and monitor effective workflow and work quality at on-site and off-site locations. Troubleshoot, diagnose and recommend best methods for solving technical issues.
Essential Job Functions:
Management:
Assist with interviews when hiring Technicians
Help determine Technician training needs
Work closely to develop an independent, efficient service team
Assist with Technician reviews
Responsible for quality control of on-site and off-site Planned Maintenance
Monitor field operations on Guaranteed Maintenance accounts
Assist with managing key indicator reports
General:
Technical support for Road Technicians at customer location
Enforcement of Technician policy adherence (proper uniforms, vehicle cleanliness etc.)
Technical support for customers with own maintenance team
Technical support for Product Support Specialists
Make determination for location of repair, on-site or off-site
Technical assistance on quoted jobs when needed
Safety inspections, and accident investigations for jobsite locations
Basic Qualifications:
Must be over the age of 18
High school diploma or Technical Degree in automotive field or equivalent field
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
