Parts Specialist – Dock and Door We have an exciting opportunity for a Dock and Door Parts Specialist located at our Carlisle branch. The Dock and Door Parts Specialist is primarily responsible for fulfilling parts orders for internal and external customers throughout the Lift Incorporated branches while also maintaining a very high level of customer service. Previous experience working in a parts department, or the material handling industry is a plus, but we will train the right individual.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Fulfilling Parts orders in person, over the phone, and electronically
Assisting customers and Service Technicians in selecting the correct Parts for maintenance or repair orders
Research Parts requests across multiple sources as needed
Provide updates to dock and door technicians and PSS as needed
Continual communication with all parties until order is fulfilled
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent GED (required)
Must be 18 years or older (required)
Experience working with Microsoft office
Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
Display a positive and friendly attitude toward customers and fellow team members
Strong organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or a part of a team on a variety of job tasks
Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years experience with dock and door parts with designated understanding
Two (2) years experience in the Material handling field
Two (2) years experience with Microsoft Office Products
Working Conditions:
Able to sit most of the day, with occasional walking
Computer work throughout an 8-10 hour day
Wearing steel or composite toe shoes or boots during work hours are a requirement of this position
Requires use of fingers, hands, and arms on a consistent basis for keyboarding and phone work
Visual acuity (with or without correction) is required.
Standard office environment has moderate noise levels associated with computer equipment, customers, and phone conversations.
Occasionally lift 50 pounds and on occasion up to 75 pounds
