Parts Support Specialist
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Support Specialist out of our Williamsport branch. The Parts Support Specialist is primarily responsible for processing, fulfilling, and delivering orders for internal staff and external customers. This person is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to internal staff and external customers. Previous experience working in a Parts Department or material handling industry experience is a plus, but we will train the right individual.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for communicating to customers and internal staff, in person, on the phone, or via email on inquires for various parts and assistance.
Responsible for fulfilling customers and internal staff orders in a timely manner in person, on the phone, or via email.
Deliver parts to customers and internal staff
Working with internal team and external vendors on obtaining inventory to fulfill customer orders
Pulling & shipping customer orders from within our stock room
Assist stockroom personnel as required
Load and unload freight deliveries
Responsible for data entry and data management for customer inquiries and orders
Communicate with other branches as required
All other duties required by management
Basic Qualifications:
Must be over the age of 18
Must be detail oriented
Valid PA Drivers License and a clean driving record
High school diploma or Technical Degree in automotive field or equivalent field
Minimum of one (1) year experience with Microsoft Office and computer
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role
Positive and friendly attitude toward customers and fellow team members
Must be able to follow directions both written and verbal
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Great organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team on a variety of job tasks
The ability to work accurately and meet deadlines
Working Conditions:
Physical requirements include sitting most of time as well as walking
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift over 75 pounds
Occasionally press customers tires
Operate material handling equipment as required
